Counseled businesses regarding employee relations, including termination issues, unemployment claims, preventing and defending claims of harassment, Fair Labor Standard Act Wage claims, Family Medical Leave Act issues, and other issues regarding employment contract and covenants not to compete.
Represented shareholder in successful strategy to purchase another adversarial shareholder's interest in multimillion dollar company, and did so without the necessity of protracted litigation.
Represented landowner and developer by successfully removing clouds on the title of several multimillion dollar parcels of land that were being wrongfully encumbered, and thereby allowing the property to be sold or transferred.
Represented landowners whose property was being condemned by a local governing body which led to the landowners receiving several times more in compensation for their property than was initially offered.
Represented client in recovering a judgment in excess of $160,000 in a fraud and breach of contract suit.
Represented numerous clients against county appraisal districts with fair market valuation, exemption, and property tax rollback disputes.
